Memorial Day in Carl Schurz Park with the Name Tree of Life...Art and Reflections

A day of bittersweet reflections on those who have  served and passed  and the self-evident fruits of their labors...and the children freely played...I worked on the preliminary subjects and themes for my Name Tree, one of 22 Wrap Sculpture and Paintings for the Tree of Life Sculpture and Mulitimedia Installation Series on Governor's Island with the Figment Arts Festival June 5-7th. A beautiful day!
