Remembering my dear friend Julie Wilson

I first met Julie in Omaha in 1978-79 awed by her beauty, grace, kindness and generosity of spirit...and that Voice of poise, diction, that inimitable eloquent distribution of vowels and consonants and soul!

And she was a great cook and mom to all of us.

She was early a fan of my art and writing and through many years, tears and laughter...songful and soulful, vibrant and colorful...mentor and eternal friend.

I had the privilege of following her shows in New York at the Algonquin and the Carlyle with my old friend Holt.

She never aged.

We spoke regularly in the past few years and shortly before her passing a warm familiar tones she reminded me of who I was...

Thank you Julie.
